Herman and Jennie lived in St. Peter and Minneapolis MN, where he attended
Hamline Univeristy before moving to South Dakota around 1904. They settled in
Sioux Falls. |

|
Herman began his ministry after the family moved to Alcester SD in 1911. He was
a Methodist minister in Chester, Oldham, Colton and Junius SD. |

minister after being converted at a revival meeting Jul 16, 1911. He performed the
service to marry his daughter Leila to Ernest N. Feind,
