Robert was a weaver. He moved with his family away from the coast to Windham CT.
After his wife died in 1781 and his unmarried daughter Elizabeth died in 1787,
he lived with his son Samuel and Samuel's wife Anna Huntington (1730-1819) in
Lempster NH. All three lived long lives. The joint headstone over their three
graves in the Lempster cemetery is inscribed: Reader, life is short. |
