Daughter Martha married James Egerton and
they gave their nine children the names of several of their ancestors, including
the name of Elizabeth Champion Egerton to their second-born. The maternal
grandmother of Elizabeth Champion was named Mary Williams, the name given
to Martha's fourth daughter, Mary Williams Egerton. |

Daughter Ann was probably the first wife of Wilmot Egerton, the youngest child of
John Egerton, Jr.. They married in 1778.
He remarried in 1808. In 1811, a daughter of Ann inherited the old "Egerton Place"
in Warren Co. NC. |
