Daughter Martha married James Egerton and they gave their nine children the names of several of their ancestors, including the name of Elizabeth Champion Egerton to their second-born. The maternal grandmother of Elizabeth Champion was named Mary Williams, the name given to Martha's fourth daughter, Mary Williams Egerton.
Daughter Ann was probably the first wife of Wilmot Egerton, the youngest child of John Egerton, Jr.. They married in 1778. He remarried in 1808. In 1811, a daughter of Ann inherited the old "Egerton Place" in Warren Co. NC.
