In the Revolutionary War, Gideon was a Private in Capt. Bunnell's Company,
Col. Douglass' Regiment, Connecticut Line at Harlem Heights & White Plains.
As a Cpl., he served at Lexington Alarm. |

Daughter Delight married Ezra Bristol, son of Ezra Bristol (1753-1819), who was
a grandson of Henry Bristol Jr. (1683-1750). |

Gideon is buried with Abigail and their son Sherlock at Hillside cemetery in
