George was awarded Lot #14 on High St. Moved to Turkey Hills, 5 miles west of Suffield meetinghouse after being sued, apparently unsuccessfully, by town for Lydia's support.
Lydia's father was the town's minister until his death three years before she married George. She was eventually sent to the House of Corrections or poorhouse.
