July 307th 1694... Will of Thomas White, Leg:

[Probated Jan 16, 1813]

I, Thomas White of the County of Claiborne in the Mississippi Territory being of sound mind and perfect memory do on this the 30th day of July in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Twelve make publish and ordain this to be my Last Will and Testament in form and manner as follows to-wit:
1st I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Sarah White one third part of my estate both real and personal and during her natural life.
2nd I give and bequeath unto my son Nelson White One Hundred acres of land lying and being in the County aforesaid on the Bayou Pierre between my home plantation and Abram Green's of which my said son Nelson is now in possession.
3rd I give and bequeath unto my son Thompson White, One Hundred acres of land lying and being in the County aforesaid on the Bayou Pierre joining above to the land herein given to Nelson White.
4th All the rest of my estate both real and personal I give and bequeath unto my children to wit: Larkin White, Nelson White, Sophia Simmes, Thompson White, Phebe Regan, Mary Thompson, William White, Sarah White, Joseph White and Benjamin White share and share alike to be equally divided among they and their heirs forever. I hereby make and ordain my son Nelson White and Ralph Regan Executors to this my Last Will and Testament making null and void all other wills and testaments by me heretofore made confirming this to be my last Will and Testament. In witness I have hereunto set my hand and seal the date first above written

Slaves $8,900.00, horses, cattle, hogs, oxen, sheep, all tools & household items $2,324.75

1/15/1815 Slaves were allotted to the following: Sarah White, the widow 1/3 part "The remainder laid off into Lots and drawn as follows" Larkin White No. 7. Nelson White No. 4. Sophie Wiseman No. 6. Thompson White No. 1. Phebe Regan No. 10. Mary Thompson No. 3. William White No. 9. Sarah White No. 8. Joseph White No. 5. Benjamine White No. 2".
