may not have been Perry. |

Charles was a cabinetmaker, and a surveyor in pioneer Le Sueur County, Minn.
He also sold pianos and raised horses. |

Sherburne is in Chenango County in Upstate New York. It was settled in 1792 and
incorporated in 1830. |

Son William was born in Cordova Twp. MN but within five years the family had
moved to St. Peter MN. William worked for many different railroad and freight
companies. He was a station agent at St. Peter and eventually worked in the Minneapolis
offices of the Minneapolis and St. Louis Railroad, and then Pillsbury. He was
regarded by some as one of the most knowledgeable "traffic men" in the country. |
