No. 1471. Claimant, Joshua Howard, 29 Mar, 1804. Wit: Henry Phipps, 2 Sept. 1806. Rejected 27 Apr. 1807. Miss. Ter. Adams Co. Joshua Howard a settler in the Territory before and on 27 Oct. 1795, claims 200 acres on the south fork of Second Creek by virtue of an order of survey from the British Government of West Florida to said Joshua Howard, dated 1776, which land was settled upon by the claimant and improved. Plat shows: Manual Madden and John Small with land adjoining.

No. 1472. Claimant, John Howard, 29 Mar, 1804. Rejected 12 May 1807. Miss. Ter. Adams Co. John Howard claims a preference to become the purchaser of 165 acres on the south fork of Second Creek by an improvement made in 1798 and claims no other land in the territory. Plat shows: Joshua Howard, David Ferguson and R. Sessions with lands adjoining.
