The first wife of Amos is buried in Cheshire Hillside Cemetery on Wallingford Road. The tombstone gives the date of death and her age but it is difficult to read.
Daughters Lois and Marlow married brothers William and James Jones, sons of James Jones and Sarah Willard.
The town of Wallingford CT was established in 1667. In 1694 New Cheshire Parish was created within Wallingford. In the 1780s it became a separate town named Cheshire.
