In the name of God, amen, I John Holloway of county of Essex and Parish of St. Ann's being sick & weak in body but of sound memory thanks be to God for the same do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form as followeth.
I recommend my soul to God who gave it me and my body to a Christian like buried at the discretion of my executris herewith named and as for the worldly good which it hast pleased God to bless me with I dispose as follows:
Item - I give to my son George all my land that lies over the swamp called Golden Vale.
Item - all the rest of my land where my father lived I give to my son John to him and his heirs forever.
Item - I give to my beloved wife all my estate during her widowhood to bring up my children and after her death or widowhood all my personal estate to be equally divided amongst my four children (viz George, John, Elizabeth, Suckey) to them and their heirs.
Item - I approve Henry Ware & Henry Ware Sr. as my executors of this my last will and testament.
Signed sealed and declared this is my last will this 21st day of April one thousand seven hundred sixty nine.

This will was proved by the witnesses and ordered to be recorded. Probate is granted the executors therein named oath adm & bond acknowledged according to law.
