No. 277. Know ye that we have granted unto John Ford Ninety
Acres of land in Rowan County on Potts creek Beginning at an Ash on Frohock's
line and runs North forty chains and fifty links to a Black [Oak crossed out]
Jack South twenty degrees East twenty seven[?] chains and twenty links 10 a white
Oak Zebulah Beard's corner thence North seventy degrees West forty two chains
and thirty links to a post Oak on said Ford's line of deeded [?] land thence
along said Ford's line South fifteen chains and eighty links to a hickory said
Ford's corner thence East ten chains to a white Oak said Ford's corner thence
South eleven chains to a Spanish Oak said Ford's corner thence East to the
Beginning. To hold unto the said John Ford his Heirs and assigns for ever dated
the 10th day of October 1783. By His Excellency Comd.[?]
