sworn on the Holy Evangelist of Almighty God sayeth -- That some time before
William & Reuben White removed out of this state he (sd deponent) sold Reuben

that Reuben White told him the greatest part of them belonged to William Whites
children, which sd Negro wench Reuben White sold to pay for the land whereon
Wm White now lives, as Wm White informed him, the he (sd deponent) bought a
Stallion horse of Reuben White, and paid him a horse and a Negro girl named Lizet
in part and that the said Reuben White puchased the said stallion horse from this
deponent again and paid him 700 £ for sd horse, and that he never understood
that Wm White had any Estate after he took the Benefit of the Insolvent Act,
that he (sd deponent) asked Reuben White what was the reason of his leaving his
Wife, and his answer was, that she was a very good Woman, but that she was not
agreeable to his humor and that he would not confine himself to any Woman that
would not. This deponent further sayeth that after the Death of Reuben White
he saw William White who told him that he brother had left a Will and that he
(sd William) acted as Executor agreeable to that Will, and further this Deponent
saith not.
