AMOS HEATON Last Will and Testament
Sept 9th, 1794, recorded March 4th, 1795.
Will of Amos Heaton, deceased.
My daughter Prudence Ewry(?) 100 acres of land and improvements made by George Ewry.
Also George Ewry 100 acres of land.
My two sons Robert Heaton and Enoch Heaton all my lands lying on the east side
of Lick Creek to be equally divided.
My beloved wife Elizabeth Heaton and my son Thomas Heaton all my land lying
on west side of Lick Creek to be equally divided.
My daughters Elizabeth Cain, Polly Heaton and Sally Heaton 320 acres in Davidson
county on Harpeth and 400 acres on Barton Creek and 214 acres on Parsons Creek
both in Tennessee County to be equally divided.
Also I give & bequeath unto my wife Elizabeth four negros named Matt & Jack &
Fanny & Clary during her natural life time & then to be divided in the following
Manner.
I give and bequeath to my son Enoch Matt & to my son Thomas Jack
& Clary to my daughter Sally
& Fanny to be at the disposal of my wife Elizabeth.
Appointed my sons Robert Heaton and Enoch Heaton, Executors. This 9 Sept 1794.
