Henry was a cooper by trade, indentured to William Davis. In Mar 1646/7, he took the freeman's oath. He was a member of the congregation of Rev. John Davenport.
Henry's brother Richard was an early settler of Guilford CT, whereas Henry was an early settler at New Haven. Richard was married twice but had no children. He died in Sep 1683.
Henry and Lydia resided at the corner of Elm and Temple, currently the site of the New Haven Public Library.
