Benjamin Blount, and Zack Gerkin or Jurkin. |

Nathaniel Sr. was a planter. According to his will dated Nov 2, 1720, his home
plantation was at that time located at Edenton, Chowan Co. NC. His will was
witnessed by son-in-law, Benjamin Blount,
(1688?-1740). |

|
Albemarle County was formed in 1664 but by 1670 part of it had been split into
Chowan and Perquimans Precincts. In 1722, Edenton was established as the
county seat of Chowan. See
